Copy Gold Trades Between Accounts and Platforms
MirrorFlow is a standalone Windows app that replicates your gold trades across different accounts, brokers and platforms: from GC or MGC futures on NinjaTrader 8 or ProjectX into XAUUSD on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader or Interactive Brokers, the other way around, or between two CFD accounts where gold is called GOLD at one broker and XAUUSD at another. The difference is that it does not simply rename the symbol: it converts the instrument, sizes the trade by real exposure in ounces, and rescales Stop Loss and Take Profit to the price and tick of the destination instrument. Everything runs on your own PC — no cloud, no VPS — with latency under 15ms and a one-time payment of $69.
GC and MGC → XAUUSD, genuinely converted
One GC contract controls 100 troy ounces and an MGC controls 10. MirrorFlow translates that exposure into the gold lot size of your CFD account instead of copying "1 for 1" and blowing up your risk.
Symbol mapping alone is not enough
GOLD, XAUUSD, XAUUSDm and GC are not just named differently: they quote at different prices. Beyond mapping the symbol, MirrorFlow rescales SL, TP, breakeven and trailing to the destination price and tick.
100% local, no cloud, no VPS
Replication runs on your own Windows machine. Your credentials and your gold positions never touch a third-party server, and you are not exposed to an external platform's uptime.
Multi-account with per-account risk
Unlimited destination accounts, an independent lot multiplier per account, MDD/MDP limits and a panic button to flatten every open gold position at once.
Install the app
You run MirrorFlow.App.exe on your Windows PC. It is a standalone app with its own dashboard: not an EA, not an indicator, and it needs no server or VPS.
Connect your gold accounts
Link the side where you trade gold (NinjaTrader 8, ProjectX/TopstepX, Interactive Brokers) and the side that receives it (MT4, MT5, cTrader or IBKR), following the visual manual.
Set up the conversion
Flag the master and follower accounts, confirm the GC/MGC ↔ XAUUSD equivalence for your broker's contract size, and set the multiplier and risk limits per account.
Trade
You fire gold on your master account and every trade lands on the followers already converted in instrument and lot size, with Stop Loss and Take Profit recalculated for the destination instrument.
FAQ
How many XAUUSD lots equal 1 GC gold contract?
One GC contract controls 100 troy ounces and its 0.10 tick is worth $10. Under the most common retail standard, where 1 XAUUSD lot is 100 ounces, 1 GC equals 1.00 XAUUSD lot and 1 MGC (10 ounces) equals 0.10 lots. Careful: some brokers define a gold lot as 1 ounce, and the math changes completely. Always check your broker's contract size.
Why aren't my gold trades copying when one broker calls it GOLD and another calls it XAUUSD?
Because almost every copier looks up the symbol by exact name and, when it can't find it, the order fails or is silently skipped. GOLD, XAUUSD, XAUUSDm, XAU/USD and GC are the same metal with different names and specifications. MirrorFlow maps the destination symbol and also adjusts the size to that account's real exposure.
How do I replicate a GC gold future into an XAUUSD CFD account without breaking my risk?
By matching exposure in ounces, not the number of contracts. MirrorFlow calculates how many ounces your GC or MGC position moves and opens the XAUUSD lot size that matches that figure according to the destination broker's contract size. It then rescales Stop Loss and Take Profit to the CFD price, which is not identical to the futures price.
Do Stop Loss and Take Profit adjust if gold quotes at a different price on the destination account?
Yes, and it's essential. GC futures and spot XAUUSD do not quote at the same price because of carry cost and roll dynamics, so copying the raw price level would give you the wrong stop. MirrorFlow recalculates SL, TP, breakeven and trailing to the price and tick size of the destination instrument.
Can I copy gold from NinjaTrader to MT5, or from MT4 to Interactive Brokers?
Yes. MirrorFlow connects NinjaTrader 8, MT4, MT5, cTrader, ProjectX (TopstepX) and Interactive Brokers, plus Rithmic, Tradovate and Continuum through NT8, and also IBKR→IBKR at the same broker. Any of those accounts can be master or follower, in any direction and with several followers at once.
Do I need a VPS or a cloud server to copy gold trades?
No. MirrorFlow is a desktop app that runs on your own Windows PC and executes replication locally, in under 15ms. There is no middleman server, you never upload credentials to the cloud, and you don't depend on a third party's uptime. All you need is your usual connection to trade with your broker.
Does MirrorFlow work with swap-free or Islamic accounts?
It works on whatever account you already have, swap-free or not, because it only replicates orders. The swap-free account is offered by your broker: MirrorFlow does not provide it, does not change your account type, does not remove swaps and holds no Sharia certification. Compliance is determined by your broker and by your own judgment or advisor. What is a fact about the software: one-time payment, no subscription and no recurring charges.
Can I copy gold between several prop firm accounts?
Technically yes: MirrorFlow replicates to unlimited destination accounts with independent multipliers and risk limits. But every funding firm sets its own rules on copying, automation and opposing positions across accounts, and those rules change. Several expressly prohibit cross-account hedging. MirrorFlow replicates; compliance remains the trader's responsibility.
