INTERACTIVE BROKERS → METATRADER 5

Interactive Brokers to MetaTrader 5 Copier (IBKR → MT5)

MirrorFlow uses Interactive Brokers as the master (source) account and replicates every trade to MetaTrader 5. The MirrorFlow client reads your fills directly from the native IBKR API (TWS or IB Gateway) on your own PC, and an Expert Advisor (EA) clones them inside MT5, converting your IBKR instrument and size into the exact lot size of your account. Interactive Brokers isn't only a destination here—it's the account that sends. 100% local connection, latency under 15ms and a one-time payment of $69.

IBKR as master via TWS / IB Gateway

The MirrorFlow client connects to the native Interactive Brokers socket API (TWS or IB Gateway) on your machine and captures every fill —stocks, futures, forex or CFDs— in real time, with no signals exported to the cloud and no fragile scripts.

Instrument and size → MT5 lot conversion

IBKR handles shares, contracts and forex units; MirrorFlow translates them into the exact MetaTrader 5 lot with the Multiplier and Equivalence panel (ES→US500, EUR.USD→EURUSD, XAUUSD…) for each destination account.

Expert Advisor receiver in MT5 (Anti-Ban)

A MirrorFlow EA, attached to an MT5 chart with AutoTrading on, executes the orders inside the terminal itself, on your machine and with no cloud servers. Anti-Ban describes that mechanism, not a guarantee of immunity: check your firm's rules on automation and copying before trading.

Hedging, netting and risk control

Compatible with MT5 accounts in hedging and netting mode. Apply a per-account multiplier, Hedge Mode (Invert Side) and daily loss/profit limits (MDD/MDP) on each destination account.

FAQ

Can Interactive Brokers be the master account to MetaTrader 5?

Yes. In MirrorFlow, IBKR is bidirectional: it can be the master (source) or follower (destination) account. In this setup, Interactive Brokers sends and MetaTrader 5 receives the replica.

How does MirrorFlow connect to Interactive Brokers?

Through the native IBKR API: you enable client connections in TWS or IB Gateway (localhost) and MirrorFlow reads your fills 100% locally. It uses no cloud copiers, so latency stays under 15ms. It works the same with IB Gateway in headless mode as with the full TWS interface.

How is an IBKR stock or contract converted into an MT5 lot?

With the Multiplier and Equivalence panel. You define how many MT5 lots your IBKR position equals (for example, 1 ES contract to one US500 lot, or EUR.USD to EURUSD) and MirrorFlow applies the conversion automatically and exactly for each account.

Is it compatible with prop firm MT5 brokers?

MirrorFlow executes inside the MetaTrader 5 terminal itself, on your machine, with no cloud servers or middlemen, and supports hedging and netting. That said, every firm has its own rules on automation and copying between accounts, and those rules change: check your firm's rulebook before trading. MirrorFlow replicates; compliance stays with you.

How much does it cost and what latency does it have?

A one-time payment of $69 for a lifetime license, with unlimited destination MT5 accounts and all future updates included. Replication from Interactive Brokers to MT5 happens in under 15ms because everything is local.
